India pulled off a dramatic six run victory over England at the Oval on the last day of the fifth and final Test to end the Anderson/Tendulkar series 2-2 .
Chasing a target of 374, England at one stage were cruising to victory following a 195-run partnership for the fourth wicket between Joe Root and Harry Brook, who scored 105 and 111 respectively.
However, England were dismissed for 367 as Mohammed Siraj ended with 5 for 104 and Prasidh Krishna four for 126.
India’s captain Shubman Gill was voted player of the series for his 754 runs including four centuries.
