GUWAHATI, India – West Indies all-rounder Justin Greaves will not be available for the second One Day International against India on Wednesday due to a calf injury.
Greaves scored his maiden ODI century in the opening match on Sunday in the West Indies’ eight-wicket loss to the home side.
However, he was clearly hobbled during his knock of 101 off 108 balls, and did not take to the field for India’s innings.
A statement from Cricket West Indies (CWI) on Tuesday confirmed that the 32-year-old Barbadian would miss the upcoming match at the Barsapara Cricket Stadium.
“Justin Greaves has been ruled out of the second game of the ODI series against India after sustaining a calf injury.
“Greaves picked up the injury during his innings in the opening match of the series,” the statement read.
