Inner Circle’s ‘Bad Boys’ fuels viral Tik Tok trend

Thirty-eight years since its release, Inner Circle’s classic hit, Bad Boys has experienced a resurgence in popularity, thanks to social media.

The song’s catchy lines have become the soundtrack for the popular #footpursuitchallenge on Tik Tok which see couples, police officers, celebrities including Mr. Beast and Shemar Moore participating in the challenge.

The official social media page for the legendary reggae band, has since been reposting the challenges, encouraging fans to tag the group for a chance to be featured.
Released in 1987 as part of their One Way album, the track to date has racked up a combined 2 billion views across YouTube, Instagram and Tik Tok. Additionally, in March this year the legendary reggae band was honoured after a Miami neighbourhood opted to rename one of its streets in honour of the group, incorporating the name Bad Boys Bad Boys into a street name in the Liberty City area.
