IRIE FM’s Myesha Broadie among nominees vying for Prime Minister’s National Youth Awards for Excellence

Multi-award winning IRIE FM journalist, Myesha Broadie, comedian Evy Royal, The Foster Triplets, and controversial podcaster Jaii Frais are among several young Jamaicans nominated for the Prime Minister’s National Youth Awards for Excellence 2024.

The awards ceremony will take place on the lawns of Jamaica House on Saturday, May 31, starting at 6:00 pm and will be live streamed on the Prime Minister’s and Jamaica Information Service’s social media channels.

Introduced in 1998, the Prime Minister’s National Youth Awards for Excellence seeks to highlight the diverse talents and contributions of young Jamaicans, aged 15 to 29, in various sectors, including journalism, entrepreneurship, agriculture, national leadership, new media, academics, art and culture, sports, environmental protection, nation building, innovation in science & technology and youth development.
