Isabella Zabaneh Takes the Miss Universe Stage as Belize Rallies Behind Her

It’s pageant night, and many in Belize are buzzed and excited as Miss Universe Belize 2025–2026, Isabella Zabaneh, prepares to take center stage at 7:00 p.m. local time at the 74th Miss Universe Pageant, hosted this year at the prestigious Challenger Hall in Bangkok, Thailand.  At only 21 years old, Zabaneh has already captured international attention, proudly placing Belize on the global map with her grace, confidence, and vibrant cultural representation. She is among 120 contestants competing for the coveted crown, and her rising popularity has ignited a wave of national pride across Belize.  Isabella stunned audiences during the National Costume Competition, debuting her breathtaking Keel-Billed Toucan–themed costume, a tribute to Belize’s national bird and lush biodiversity. She also delivered a striking performance in the evening gown presentation, wearing a silver, diamond-studded dress enhanced by a dramatic blue mid-body veil that dazzled viewers and pageant watchers worldwide.  As anticipation builds, Belizeans from all corners of the country are uniting behind their queen, anxiously awaiting the results of one of the world’s most prestigious pageants. Tonight, only a quarter of the delegates will advance to the grand finale, making every moment on the stage critical.  Here is an excerpt from Isabella made during the costume and the evening gown segments.

Isabella Zabaneh earned the right to represent Belize after being crowned on June 30, succeeding outgoing queen Halima Hoy. Monisha Hyde placed the first runner-up, followed by Hope Panton as the second runner-up during the national pageant.  Belizeans can tune in to watch the 74th Miss Universe Competition live on Telemundo at 7:00 p.m., which corresponds to 8:00 a.m., November 21 – Thailand time.
