JOSE Marti High were the only double winners on the day as second-round action in the ISSA urban schoolgirls netball competition got under way on Wednesday at the Leila Robinson Court. The Philip Pinnock–coached juniors and seniors scored contrasting wins to take early control of their group.

The senior team had the biggest win of the day after easily brushing aside neighbours St Jago High 45-23. In a very close encounter, their junior team outlasted former champions The Queen’s School 19-18.
