Mattea Issa, the newly crowned Caribbean Amateur Junior Golf champion in the Under-18 category and Trey Williams are currently on the Asuncion Golf Club in Paraguay taking on the region’s best golfers at the Junior PanAm Games.
Issa hopes she’ll be able to continue her good form into the Pan Am Games.

This is the second installment of the Junior PanAm Games, while golf is making its debut at the championship.
Jamaica is competing in 12 of the 42 sports in championship.
The other sports are Archery, Athletics, diving, Swimming, Badminton, Cycling-Track, Fencing, Rugby, Sailing, Tennis and Wrestling.
