Vice president at the Jamaica Athletics Administrative Association, Ian Forbes, believes the country’s Women’s 4x400m and Mixed 4x400m relay teams, who currently occupy the sixteenth and final relay spot, have done enough to secure a spot at the upcoming World Athletics Championships in Tokyo, Japan.
The deadline for meeting the qualification standards is August 25.
Forbes also congratulated the team for their performance at the recently concluded NACAC championships after finishing second on the medal table amassing a total of 25 medals inclusive of 10 gold, 7 silver and 8 bronze.
