JAAA VP Relieved Jamaica’s Men in Position to Qualify for Tokyo 4x100m

Vice-president of the Jamaica Athletics Administrative Association, JAAA, Ian Forbes, believes the administration, and by extension the country’s track and field lovers, can breathe a sigh of relief, for now.

This as Jamaica’s men’s 4-by-100 metres relay team placed themselves in position to qualify for the upcoming World Championships in Tokyo, Japan.

Jamaica’s quartet of Rohan Watson, Oblique Seville, Kadrian Goldon and Kishane Thompson were clocked at 37.80 seconds to place the country in 15th position.  

The top 14 teams have already secured their spots at the upcoming games leaving the next two fastest by the August 24th deadline to complete the relay field.
