Jamaica’s national under-20 men’s football team suffered their second straight Group “A” loss of the CONCACAF Championship going down 3-0 against Costa Rica in Mexico, Monday night.
The young Reggae Boyz had to play with 10-men for the last 19-minutes of regulation time after Makai Welch received a red card.
The opening goal came from the penalty spot as Claudio Montero converted in the 50th minute.
Andy Rojas extended the lead in the 67th minute, before getting a second in the 83rd to complete Costa Rica’s victory.
Jamaica’s third and final Group match will be against Cuba on Thursday.
Meanwhile, USA booked their ticket to the Quarter-finals with a 4-nil win over Cuba.
