The Jamaican quartet of Oblique Seville, Kishane Thompson, Kadrian Goldson and Rohan Watson clocked a time of 37.80s to win the men’s 4x100m at the London Diamond League on Saturday.
Their season's best time means they are now in a qualification position for the Tokyo World Championships.
The home team of Great Britain finished second, also in a season’s best, with a time of 38.08s. The Netherlands ran 38.17s for third place.
Following botched exchanges at the World Relays and failure to achieve the automatic qualifying mark for the Tokyo World Championships, this was likely Jamaica's last chance to try to qualify a team for Tokyo.
