Jamaica Athletics Invitational Set for May 11

The National Stadium will come alive on May 11 with the return of the Jamaica Athletics Invitational Track and Field meet.

The meet will feature 14 key events for elite athletes from Jamaica, USA, Canada and Europe.

The three hour meet will also have an entertainment element for patrons.

World Athletics has designated the event ‘Silver’ on the Continental Tour.

Chairman of the local organising committee, Ludlow Watts, says fans will be in for a treat watching some of the world’s best athletes.

The event will serve as a warm up for the National Championships in several countries, most of which are scheduled for the end of June.
