Jamaica Broilers chairman Robert Levy resigns after 17 years; Gregory Shirley appointed successor

The Jamaica Broilers Group (JBG) has announced the resignation of long-serving chairman Robert E. Levy, ending a 17-year tenure at the helm of the company's board and more than six decades of service to the poultry and agribusiness group. In a notice to the Jamaica Stock Exchange, the company said Levy stepped down as chairman effective July 22, 2026. The board has recognised Levy's contribution by conferring on him the honourary title of Director Emeritus, a move that will allow the company to continue benefiting from his experience and guidance.
