Jamaica ended the Carifta Swimming Championship in second place, with 795-and-a-half points in Trinidad and Tobago, Tuesday night.
The Bahamas tops the table with 979 points and retains the title.
Hosts Trinidad and Tobago was third with 735 points, with Cayman Islands 477-and-a-half for fourth, and Aruba with 469 points rounding out the top five.
On the medals table, the Jamaicans finished third with 21 golds, 19 silvers and 16 bronze for a total of 56 medals.
The Bahamas also topped that table with 74 medals, with Trinidad and Tobago second with 57, Cayman Islands was fourth with 32 and Barbados was fifth also with 32 medals.
Meanwhile, the Jamaicans dominated the relays on the final day winning four golds and a silver in the 4-by-50 metres freestyle.
The 13-14 boys won gold in a Carifta and national record 1:40.12. The 13-14 girls also picked up gold in record breaking form setting a national age group record in a winning time of 1:49.08. They erased the old mark of 1:49.82.
11-12 girls posted 1:55.62 to win gold.
Jamaica’s fourth relay gold came in the 15-17 girls age group with a time of 1:48.25. The 15-17 boys swam a new national record of 1:35.48 for the silver.
