Jamaica finished 17th on the medals table with two silvers and two bronze at the three-day World Athletics Indoor Championships which ended in Nanjing, China, on Sunday.
Jamaica bagged three medals on the final day to go along with Raymond Richards’ bronze in the men’s high jump on the opening day.

Wayne Pinnock produced a season best 8.29 metres to take silver in the men’s long jump on the final day to complete a the set, having won silver at the World Outdoors and also at the Olympic Games in Paris last year.

Ackera Nugent gave Jamaica’s it first and only medal on the female side when the clocked a season best 7.74 seconds for third in the 60 metres hurdles, her first senior global medal.

The quartet of Rusheen McDonald, Jasauna Dennis, Kimar Farquharson and Demar Francis produced a season best 3:05.05 to take silver in the men’s 4-by-400-metres relay.
The USA won in a season best 3:03.13.
