Trinidad and Tobago registered a commanding 10-wicket victory over Jamaica in their West Indies Rising Stars under 17 regional two-day championships at Couva on Thursday.
Set a target of 34 for victory, Trinidad coasted as openers Saleem Khan19 and Christian Lall 12 took them home.
Jamaica led by an opening stand of 80 between captain Tyson Gordon Junior 41 and Demario Hall 47, made 122 for 9 in their second innings.
Scores in the match Trinidad and Tobago scored 233 and 34, Jamaica 142 and 122.
It was Jamaica’s second defeat at the tournament following a two run loss to Barbados and a draw against the Leewards.
Jamaica will next be in action on Sunday against the Windward Islands at the Queens Park Oval.
Barbados also won on Thursday, beating the Windward Islands by 10-wicket, while the Leeward Islands pulled off an 8 wicket win over Guyana.
