The Jamaica Scorpions set a mammoth 419 to win, reached 123 for 2 at stumps of day three of their sixth round regional encounter against champions the Guyana Harpy Eagles at Sabina Park.
Jevaughn Buchanan made 39, while Kirk McKenzie 39 and captain Brandon King 13 the not out batsmen. Tthe Scorpions are still 316 runs behind.
The Harpy Eagle declared their second innings on 147 for 4, after bowling out the Scorpions for 153 in their first innings.
Tevin Imlach 44 and Kevin Sinclair 36 not out made most runs against Derval Green 2 for 39.
At Coolidge, Windward Islands Volcanoes beat the West Indies Academy by 158 runs.
