Jamaica’s senior women cricket team will start the defence of their title when they take on Trinidad and Tobago in the CG United Women’s Super50 Cup, on February 24.
The tournament which will showcase the Caribbean’s premier female cricket talent will run from February 24 to March 7 in St. Kitts and Nevis.
Three venues will host the tournament, Warner Park, Conaree Cricket Centre and St. Paul’s Sports Complex.
The other teams in the competition are Barbados, Guyana, Windward Islands and hosts Leeward Islands.
The tournament marks a crucial preparation phase in a landmark year for West Indies Women’s cricket.
This regional showpiece precedes an intensive international calendar for the West Indies Women, who look to build on their commanding ODI and T20I series victories against Bangladesh in St. Kitts last month.
