Jamaica’s men senior hockey team will face their sternest test when they take on host nation Mexico in their final preliminary match of the CAC Games Qualifier, on Friday.
Technical director of Jamaica Hockey Federation, Dr. Michelle Holt, says with Mexico holding a higher regional ranking and enjoying home advantage, the Jamaicans are preparing for a high-intensity clash that may determine tournament seeding and progression.
Holt says the focus is now on enhancing execution under pressure.
