President of the Jamaica Volleyball Association, Jacqueline Cowan, says the country is ready to host the inaugural Cazova Volleyball Championships set for July 31 to August 3 at G.C Foster College.
The three overseas teams, Barbados, Suriname and Trinidad and Tobago have fielded teams in both the male and female competitions.
The tournament will be played in a round robin format with the top two teams in each category featuring in the final on the last day of action.
Cowan says she expects fierce competition.
