With the final stretch of the Junior Pan American Games underway, Jamaica’s young stars are not slowing down.

On the penultimate day of competition, Team Jamaica is set to make a bold push for more medals, with five athletes qualifying for individual finals and both the men’s and women’s 4-by-400-metres relay squads ready to light up the track.

After an already impressive showing in the earlier rounds of athletics, all eyes are on the Jamaican contingent as they look to close the Games with a flourish.

In the 110-metres hurdles final, Jamaica will be represented by Matthew Sullivan and David Warmington.

Also chasing podium finishes are Chavez Penn in the men’s triple jump, and Racquil Broadrick and Christopher Young in the men’s discus.

But it’s the men’s and women’s 4-by-400 metres relays that promise to bring the evening to a thrilling close.
