Jamaica’s Senior National volleyball teams continue their campaign at the CAZOVA Senior Volleyball Championships in Nassau, Bahamas, with both the men’s and women’s squads set for key matches, on Friday.
In the Men’s Championship, Jamaica advanced to the semifinals after defeating Trinidad and Tobago 3-1 in an exciting quarterfinal showdown.
The victory secured the team a place in semifinal 1, where they will face Curacao today for a chance to reach the final.
On the Women’s side, defending champions Jamaica fell short in their semifinal clash, losing to Trinidad and
Tobago in straight sets 3-nil.
With the defeat, Jamaica will now contest the 3rd place playoff against Guadeloupe as they look to secure a podium finish.
Both teams have demonstrated resilience and determination throughout the tournament, keeping Jamaica’s flag flying high on the regional stage.
