At Coolidge the Windward Islands Volcanoes reached 163 for 6 a lead of 167 runs against the West Indies Academy.
Alick Athanaze made 89 and Kavem Hodge 41.
Earlier, the West Indies Academy were bowled out for 158.
Carlon Bowen-Tuckett was unbeaten on 36, while Kadeem Alleyne made 35.
