Track and field competition at the Commonwealth Games gets under way today at the Scotstoun Stadium in Glasgow, with 10 Jamaicans in action as the country’s athletes begin their quest for podium finishes. Jamaica will be hoping to better the performance from the last Commonwealth Games in Birmingham, where they finished with 15 medals, including six gold, seven silver, and two bronze.
