Jamaica Women’s U19s crushed in opener

ST JOHN’S, Antigua (CMC): Trinidad and Tobago Women and Leeward Islands Women began their campaigns in the Rising Stars Under-19 Women’s Championship on a winning note when the competition got under way yesterday. T&T made light work of Jamaica Women, thumping them by eight wickets, while Leeward Islands Women edged Windward Islands Women by one run under the Duckworth-Lewis-Stern method. At Bethesda Sports Ground, Trinidad and Tobago Women cruised to an emphatic eight-wicket victory over Jamaica Women on the back of an impressive bowling performance.
