Sprinters Ackeem Blake and Natasha Morrison are down for action at the USATF Los Angeles Grand Prix Track and Field meet at Drake Stadium in California, on Saturday.
Blake will match strides with the Botswanan star Letsile Tebogo and Aaron Brown of Canada in the men’s 100-metres, while Morrison is also down for the women’s 100-metres with the likes of Marie Josee Ta Lou Smith, Twishana Terry and Gabby Thomas.
400-metres hurdles world record holder. Sydney McClaughlin-Levrone, will drop down to the 200-metres to take on Thomas, Abby Steiner and Jenna Prandini.
800-metres stars, Olympic champion Athing Mu and world champion Mary Moraa will step down to the 400-metres to face the world champion Marileidy Paulino.
The clash between Joe Kovacs and Tom Walsh should highlight the men’s Shot Put, while Michael Norman and Kirani James renew rivalry in the men’s 400-metres.
