Jamaican Swimmers in Action Around the World

Several of Jamaica’s swimmers will be on show in the Europe and the USA, on the weekend.

Benjamin Davis will represent Mount Kelly in the United Kingdom at the Arena Lisbon International competition in Portugal.

The former Cornwall College standout will be competing in the 50,100 and 200 metre freestyle and 100 metre breaststroke.

When he came home to compete at the National aquatic Centre in December he recorded personal bests in the 50 metre freestyle 24.72,100 metre freestyle 54.94 and 100 breaststroke 1:10.69.

Meanwhile, in Tennesse, Zack Andre-Johnson formerly of Jamaica College and Daniel Adelle-Jondeau formerly of Campion College will be representing the McCallie school at the three-day Tennessee High School Swimming and Diving State Championships, starting on Friday.

The meet will be contested in the 25 yard pool.

Daniel will be swimming the 200-yard individual medley and 100-yard breaststroke and Zack Andre the 100-yard butterfly and 100-yard backstroke.
