Jamaican Teams in The Cayman Islands for CAZOVA World Champs Qualifiers

Jamaica’s under-21 men and women’s beach volleyball teams are in the Cayman Islands for the two-day Caribbean Zonal Volleyball Association, CAZOVA, World Championship Qualification, which starts on Thursday.

The top three countries will advance to the Continental round of qualification.

Other countries competing are hosts The Cayman Islands, US Virgin Islands, and Trinidad and Tobago.

Jamaica’s women’s team include, Damia Sibblies and Brandy McCarthy. Meanwhile, Jamaica will be represented by Ithran Softley and Love-let Blake on the men’s side.

They were accompanied by coach, Lloyd Archer.

The teams will remain in The Cayman Islands to participate in the NORCECA under-23 tournament from June 20-23.

This tournament will be used to earn ranking points to qualify for the Pan American Games.

In addition to the participation of the teams, JaVA International Referee, Kenneth Waugh and Continental Referees, Cheryl Daley and Cherine Richards will officiate at both tournaments.
