JaVA in Time Crunch to Raise Funds for Caribbean Volleyball Championship

President of Jamaica Volleyball Association, Jacqueline Cowan, says the association is in a race against time to secure the funding needed to ensure that the country’s senior women’s team are present in the Bahamas for the Caribbean Volleyball Championships scheduled for August 13-24.  

Jamaica are defending champions of the tournament and Cowan believes with just over a month left before the start, the country’s 12-member team are still requesting assistance needed to ensure that their preparation phase isn’t severely affected.
