President of Jamaica Volleyball Association, Jacqueline Cowan, believes inexperience played a huge factor in the country’s performance at the recently concluded Cazova under-17 Volleyball Championships at the G.C Foster College.
Both male and female teams ended the championships winless and at the bottom of the table.
Cowan suggested that one of the immediate plans following the championships will be to look at creating an under-17 league to give the youngsters more playing time.
President Cowan in reflection shared that Jamaica, as a host country, did a good job in the hosting of the championships.
