President of the Jamaica volleyball association, Jacqueline Cowan, is expecting some strong competition when the CAZOVA Under-19 Boys and Girls Volleyball Championships serves off at the GC Foster College, from July 26 to August 4.
In the boys division Jamaica are drawn in pool “A” along with Aruba and the US Virgin Islands, while Pool “B” will feature Suriname, the Cayman Islands, Barbados and Trinidad and Tobago.
Meanwhile, on the girls’ side, Jamaica will play from pool “A” with Trinidad and Tobago and Barbados.
Pool “B” include, The US Virgin Islands, Aruba, Curacao and Suriname.
Cowan says the Jamaicans intends to win both titles on home soil.
