Dancehall artiste Jayds has crossed a major digital milestone, officially notching his first million YouTube views with the gritty street anthem ‘Beast’, the title track from his forthcoming EP due in 2026. The achievement, confirmed on Tuesday, signals a breakthrough moment for the multi-talented artiste and arrives just days ahead of his highly anticipated Chimney Records-produced collaboration with Aidonia, ‘IDGAF’, slated for release imminently.
Speaking with Prism Marketing Consultants, Jayds described the milestone as both validating and motivating. “It’s a great feeling and just the start of many things to come,” he said, hinting at “even bigger plans” for the new year. The Aidonia-assisted release is set to kick-start that next chapter, pairing Jayds’ raw delivery with one of dancehall’s most commanding voices, and positioning him firmly within the genre’s competitive frontline.
The success of Beast has been building steadily throughout 2025, driven by strong visuals and organic fan engagement. Alongside the street banger, Jayds has continued to widen his range with ‘Spotlight’, a provocative, female-focused single that explores relationship drama and emotional tension. Produced by GreyHut Productions and distributed by Hapilos Entertainment, the track samples Jennifer Hudson’s hit of the same name and has sparked conversation online since its release, further expanding his audience beyond core street listeners.
Beyond singles, anticipation is also mounting for the Beast EP, executively produced by Haunted Music and distributed by 21st Hapilos. The project promises fresh cadences, experimental flows and sharper storytelling, with production credits spanning One Time, 9 Miles Records, Cashflow Rinse and Gerusalem Music. With Beast now a certified million-viewer, Spotlight gaining traction, and IDGAF waiting in the wings, Jayds appears poised to convert momentum into longevity as he accelerates into 2026.
