AJ Dybantsa
The Jamaica Basketball Association is in early discussion to host some of the top under-17 players from the USA in compete in a tournament called the Grind.
The “Grind Session” usually involves some of the top US High school basketball academies.
This is usually held in the USA but in recent times it was also held in Canada.
President of the JBA, Paulton Gordon, says they are seeking to do it in Jamaica because the number-1 ESPN ranked high school player AJ Dybantsa has Jamaican heritage.
Gordon says there’ll be a heavy local component to the tournament.
