Chairman of the sports committee, at Jamaica College, Ian Forbes and principal of GC Foster College, Maurice Wilson, say the refurbishing of the National Stadium will result in more organisations requesting the use of the facilities under their supervision.
Work is set to start on the stadium next year and last for three years, during which time the facility will remain partially open for special events to include the ISSA/GraceKennedy Boys’ and Girls’ Athletics Championships.
Forbes says the Ashenheim Stadium at Jamaica College is more than capable to host additional events.

Wilson says they are use to GC Foster being in high demand.
He says he has an experience team to ensure everything runs smoothly.
