Jediah Blades and Jewel Andrews Get Maiden WI Calls for T20 Series Against Australia

Cricket West Indies has announced a strong 16 man for the five match T20 International series against Australia.

Exciting young prospects Jediah Blades and Jewel Andrews are the two first time call ups to the West Indies T20 squad.

Seasoned campaigners Jason Holder, Rovman Powell and Akeal Hossien are also back in the squad.

The rest of the Shai Hope-led aggregation includes Roston Chase, Shimron Hetmyer, Gudakesh Motie, Matthew Forde, Alzarri Joseph, Brandon King, Evin Lewis, Andre Russell, Sherfane Rutherford and Romario Shepherd.

The first two games in the series will be played at Sabina Park July 20 and 22 with Warner Park in St. Kitts hosting the other three.

The teams are using the game as preparation for the T20 World Cup next year.
