President of Jamaica Football Federation, Michael Ricketts, revealed to Nationwide Sports that head coach of the senior men’s team, Steve McLaren, is looking to add at least four new players to the squad ahead of the final round of qualification of the 2026 FIFA World Cup.
The Reggae Boyz, ranked 70th in the world, will kick off their final round of qualification on September 5 when they face Bermuda away.
The team will return home to lock horns with Caribbean rivals Trinidad and Tobago at the National Stadium on September 9th.
According to Ricketts, the administration is doing its best to ensure the country successfully navigates the final hurdle of qualification.
