JFF Working to Resolve Referees Issues

President of the Jamaica Football Federation, JFF, Michael Ricketts, says the organisation is working to resolve the impasse that resulted in referees refusal to officiate Sunday’s round of matches in the Jamaica Premier League.

It’s understood the referees withdrew their services over the non-payment of a reported $8 million in referee fees. This debt is owed by the Jamaica Professional Football Limited.

Ricketts says the JFF has been meeting with the various stakeholders since Sunday.
