The Jamaica First Movement, JFM, says the split from the Jamaica Progressive Party, JPP, has not hurt the organization.
JFM announced a mutual dissolution of the political alliance on Sunday.
According to a statement, the groups are not firmly agreed on the foundational principle of the vision for a government of national unity.

Reverend Miller concedes the split is disappointing.
He says, however, that the JFM remains committed to its mission.
