JGA President Hails Winning Gymnastics Teams

President of the Jamaica Gymnastics Association, Nicole Grant, had high praises for the three teams that competed in the USA and Barbados over the weekend.

A 19-member team from the Jamaica School of Gymnastics competed at the Cats Beach Blast competition in Miami, Florida, where they came away with 22 medals; nine golds, six silvers and seven bronze.

They also came away with two first place team trophies and three third place team trophies.

Meanwhile, Westmoreland and Painite Gymnastics clubs competed at the Barbados Invitational.

The team came first overall in their category with 46 medals.
