‘JLP Apologist!’ PNP Stalwarts Slam Chung FID Appointment

Several opposition spokespersons again attacked Dennis Chung’s qualifications as the new chief technical director appointee at the Financial Investigations Division.

Senator Peter Bunting, who was formerly Chung’s boss at the investment firm, Dehring Bunting and Golding, described him as a Jamaica Labour Party apologist.

It’s important to note, that before this brouhaha, Senator Bunting has never publicly criticised Chung in any capacity.

The opposition spokesperson on justice, Senator Donna Scott Mottley, claims Chung’s previous comments on the prime minister’s statutory declarations prove that he’s compromised.

Meanwhile, former opposition leader, Dr. Peter Phillips, says the People’s National Party, PNP, will not relent in their efforts to have Dennis Chung removed from his post.
