Dr. Holness also announced significant tax breaks for senior citizens in Jamaica.
Dr. Holness reminded the country that the former PNP government scoffed at the JLP’s intention to increase the Income Tax Threshold to $1.5 million as part of its 2016 election campaign.
However, the Prime Minister says the government must be cautious in its approach going forward to ensure balance and fairness.
