Chairman of the JLP’s Manifesto Committee, Kamina Johnson-Smith says if the Jamaica Labour Party secures a third term it will launch a debt reset policy at the Student’s Loan Bureau.
Speaking during the social issues debate on Saturday, Johnson-Smith says this forms part of the party’s plan to reduce the burden on students.
Johnson-Smith says the policy will include a 100 percent waiver for delinquent accounts.
Meanwhile, accounts in good standing will be credited with 1-hundred thousand dollars.
