As the countdown to the general election continues, the Jamaica Labour Party, JLP, is hoping that it can turn the tide and cause an upset in South East St. Andrew.
The constituecy is represented in parliament by Julian Robinson, the Opposition Spokesman on Finance.
It’s considered safe People’s National Party territory, having been represented by Maxine Henry-Wilson during the tenure of PJ Patterson’s leadership.
But the JLP’s Kevin Frith, a newcomer to the political arena, is hoping to create an upset.
Frith says he wants to see a transformation of New Kingston.
