The governing Jamaica Labour Party will launch its 2025 election manifesto on Sunday, August 24 at a mass rally in Sam Sharpe Square in Montego Bay, St. James.

The manifesto is dubbed, “I Choose Jamaica: The Next Chapter.”

Chairman of the JLP’s Manifesto Committee, Kamina Johnson Smith, says it’s the first time an election manifesto will be launched outside of Kingston.

Johnson-Smith notes that the use of a mass rally to launch the manifesto is based on the JLP’s mission to bring policies to the people.

Meanwhile, Mrs. Johnson-Smith says the JLP has upgraded its website to include an interactive map which will highlight the party’s achievements in different parishes.

The map also allows users to receive updates on health centres, fire stations, water projects, major road works, markets, school infrastructure projects and vulnerable persons.

There’s also a section on the new website for an inside look on the JLP’s candidates.
