THE JAMAICA Premier League (JPL) is set to launch a revolutionary broadcast experience for the 2025-2026 season, promising to bring fans closer to the action than ever before.

The new partnership with Jamaican-owned broadcast innovator PPIVOTT LLC marks a significant “pivot into the future” for the nation’s top football league.

The extensive broadcast deal will see more than 160 matches covered across 80 gamedays aired live every Sunday and Monday for 44 weeks, beginning September 7.

The league will also remain accessible on select free-to-air and cable channels in Jamaica and throughout the Caribbean.

For O’Neil Walters, founder and director of PPIVOTT LLC, this deal is the culmination of a lifelong ambition.

“After 25 years in the broadcast industry, it’s a joy to finally see a lifetime vision to export Jamaica and the Caribbean content to the world become a reality. The Jamaica Premier League is just the beginning,” he said.

Production will be handled by Phase 3 Productions Limited, with CEO Delano Forbes eagerly anticipating another exciting season in the nation’s top flight.

“We are happy to partner with PPIVOTT LLC on a journey to create content that will create impact in a global marketplace.”

Owen Hill, CEO of Professional Football Jamaica Limited (PFJL), which manages the 50-year-old league, explained that the decision was driven by a vision for growth.

“We did a bidding process and PPIVOTT LLC came in with the best vision, production mix, commercialisation plan, and growth strategy for the league. Amid all the concerns with the newness of technology, we took a leap of faith into the future.”

The league’s new official and exclusive host broadcaster, PPIVOTT LLC and its affiliate 284 Holdings Limited, brings formidable global expertise to the table.

The company is a recognised partner of Tata Communications, the world’s leading broadcast technology firm that powers major properties like Formula 1, Sail GP, and the Indian Premier League.

Utkarsh Gosain, global media services director at Tata Communications, endorsed the choice, stating, “PPIVOTT has a strong belief in the intellectual properties of sports and entertainment in the Caribbean region, and has earned our trust as they lead critical projects for us in Jamaica and the region.”
