Action in the Wray and Nephew Jamaica Premier League, JPL, resumes on Wednesday with one game, a day after local football referees ended their strike.

In the day’s game, Molynes United meet Vere United at the Tony Spaulding Complex starting at 3.30 pm.

Meanwhile, the referees’ strike was resolved following two days of negotiation between the Jamaica Football Federation, Professional Football Jamaica Limited, and the Jamaica Football Referees Association.

The referees failed to show for games in the JPL on Sunday because of money owed to them since November 2024.

They vowed to stay off the job until they were paid in full. The referees were owed $7.8 million.
