The Jamaica First Movement, JFM, in alliance with the Jamaica Progressive Party, JPP, is appealing to Jamaicans at home and abroad to contribute to its election campaign.
This as the movement presses forward with its mission to “Build a New Jamaica.”
The appeal was made in a statement released on Tuesday, a day after the alliance nominated 47 candidates for the September 3 general election.
According to JFM founder, Reverend Al Miller the public appeal is no different from how the traditional political parties would recieve donation to fund their campaigns.
The JFM/JPP alliance is seeking support from 100,000 patriots, each donating between $1,000 to $5,000.
The party says the contribution is to spread what it describes as a message of hope and transformation across the country.
The JFM/JPP has provided bank account details at Scotiabank Oxford Road and NCB Half-Way-Tree to facilitate contributions.
JPP is the fourth registered political party set to contest September 3 general election.
It joined forces with Jamaica First Movement, launched by prominent clergyman, Al Miller, earlier this month.
Reverend Miller says the party’s momentum remains strong as it seeks to present itself as a viable alternative to the country’s two main political parties.
