JWPL kicks off with massive double-header

The opening round of matches in the 2026 Jamaica Women’s Premier League (JWPL) will kick off today with a highly anticipated double-header at the Anthony Spaulding Sports Complex where defending champions Frazsiers Whip will get their campaign under way. The opening game of the double-header will see Frazsiers Whip begin their quest for a third consecutive hold on the title when they take on Los Perfectos at 3 p.m. in Zone B action. The fixture will be a repeat of last season’s semi-finals, where Frazsiers Whip edged Los Perfectos 2-1 on their way to the title.
