Dancehall rising star, Kaream Kharizma has been causing a stir since making his return from a brief hiatus. However, this time the image, more specifically his hairstyle has been the talk of the town for Dancehall fans who have been paying close attention to the deejay.
The hairstyle in question looks like what appears to be thick and tightly wound dreadlocks styled into two long, upward curving extensions that strongly resemble horns. Many fans are saying the unconventional hairstyle is reminiscent of the devil’s crown which is seen as a cause for concern.
In an exclusive chat with the deejay, Kharizma had this to say about the attention he has been receiving from fans regarding the hairstyle. “A lot of people have reacted negatively saying that it’s demonic or devilish. Some go as far as saying that they will hurt me also.”
“But I can assure everyone that they are nothing but antennas as I said in my Star interview last year. Furthermore, if you don’t believe what I’m saying, you can check out my soon to be released single BEAST MOOD for more clarity.”
In a snippet of his aforementioned unreleased track, a particular line has been causing a groundswell amongst fans, especially the females.
The lyrics: “Gyal ina the front seat nuh have nuh drawz, seh she nah cut till di sun tun on…Gyal a suck on a seh gad mi love yuh but mi don’t like yuh cow horn.”
The St Catherine talisman has a strong social media presence, with his Instagram page boasting thousands of shares and an impressive eleven thousand followers (11,000).
Kaream Kharizma’s much anticipated and already controversial track titled ‘Beast Mood’ produced by Crown Eagle Music Group is set to be released on Friday, June 20.
