Hosts Kingston College beat Excelsior by nine wickets in the quarter-finals of the ISSA Urban Area Under-14 limited overs Schoolboys’ cricket competition, on Tuesday.
Batting first, Excelsior were bowled out for 60, with Avier-Lee Boiley making 13. Jhaylan Thomas took 4 for 11 and Rajae McGeachy, 4 for 33
In reply, KC raced to victory inside 16 overs. Thomas made 33.
Final scores, Excelsior 60, Kingston College 61 for 1.
Meanwhile, Bridgeport beat St. George’s College by 69 runs.
Batting first, Bridgeport were dismissed for 117 with Norton Smith making 73.
Chasing 118 to win, St. George’s were bowled out for 48. Smith took three wickets and Khalil Russell, three.
Norman Manley, 69 for 4, beat St. Catherine High, 65 all out, by six wickets and Wolmer’s Boys, 29 for 6, beat Campion College, 28 all out, by four wickets.
